&lt;P&gt;It sounds like your customer's card might have been declined when they tried to pay you that second time. Square isn't informed of the reason a card is declined but your customer can contact their bank/card issuer for more information. You can also confirm declined payments&amp;nbsp;from the &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5391" target="_blank"&gt;Transaction Status&lt;/A&gt; report, available on your &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/reports/transaction-status" target="_blank"&gt;Square Dashboard&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Also keep in mind there isn't a way to edit a transaction after it has been completed. So, in this case, if your customer wanted to put in a clearer&amp;nbsp;signature you'd have to refund the payment and process it again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So rookie mistake. Was in a hurry and signed an X as a customer signature... The next time they tried to pay for an item it would not accept their signature... How do I remedy this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;so not exactly sure what you were saying, but Square does not keep a signature&amp;nbsp;on file to compare to previous signatures on Square devices.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
