      <description>&lt;P&gt;How long does it take for an Authorized User to receive a verification code? I set up a new Authorized User, and they received a confirmation email but no verification code, which they would need to log in to the Square Register app.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

An authorized user will&amp;nbsp;only receive a verification code by SMS if you &lt;EM&gt;only&lt;/EM&gt; enter their phone number. As you provided their email address and they received the verification code that way,&amp;nbsp;they're ready to sign in to the app!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;After that, &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5591#create-role" target="_self"&gt;grant them the ability to Access Dashboard&lt;/A&gt;. From there, they'll be able to access the business settings using their email address and password.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Authorized Representatives do not have their own login access &lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/465918"&gt;@Jasbarn&lt;/a&gt;. If you are looking to add a user with Full Access to your account then that individual would have their own Access to your account. We have put together a great guide on &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6316-add-an-administrator-or-authorized-representative" target="_blank"&gt;Adding Full Access Team Member vs. Authorized Representatives&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
