Has anyone figured out if it's possible to check out clients from appointments with the square dongle in my laptop? I don't have an Apple-based phone, but do have an apple laptop.

Hi @lianalmt

There isn't a way to use the Checkout feature of the Appointments app from a laptop or personal computer at this time, but I can see how that would be helpful.

While you can use the Virtual Terminal from your Square Dashboard to charge your customers, that process would be more of a workaround, as you'd need to already have a customers card on file or manually enter the payment information.

The reporting would look strange as well, since you're not able to add the service to the sale the way the the Appointments app allows.
