How to recover a Credit card number

I processed several transactions using a customers credit card but the last transaction I did not have my reader so the customer read me his numbers so I could process the transaction when I got near my reader. The credit card number he gave comes back as incorrect but I have his CCV, expiration date and last 4 of his card. I have not been able to contact the customer to verify the number. Can I initiate a transaction since I have processed the card previously? Thanks

Unfortunately you will need the correct card number to process this payment. Even though you processed a payment with this customer in the past, each payment requires accurate information.
