Does the Square Restaurants App (iOS) Need a Subscription?

I accidentally started the restaurant trial on my account. I was trying to save the trial for our next outdoor festival in August.

Since the trial was already activated, I was exploring the Restaurant app and was wondering if I had to pay the Restaurant subscription to use the Restaurant app? I really like the Menu screen and how I can add buttons with titles instead of pictures like the regular Square app.

Square for restaurants is a paid service. $60/mo for one device, $40 each additional device.
