Why can I not add cash to my account.

There needs to be a way to add cash to your square account. If and when I take cash payments, I would like to be able to add them to my square account where the rest of the money from my payments are located. Now, why this is such a problem? I do not know. But I really need an answer to this this is a simple problem that should have been fixed way before all these years passed.

Oh, and not be charged some exorbitant fee, would be nice. Especially since I am being charged to add from cash app and you're the same company. Excuse me, since you partner with Licoln and Sutton banks for financial transactions, I am sure between you 4 million dollar companies, you can figure it out.

Hi @Uncle_Gee - Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Square Seller Community👋 I'm happy to provide you with some more information on this.

You can still accept and record cash payments through Square. If you do record any cash payments, these will be accounted for in your sales and transaction reports. However, Square doesn’t process any funds and functions only as an organizational tool. Funds for these transactions are exchanged directly between you and your customer and will not be transferred by Square. There is no fee to accept cash payments.
