how to find an api developer

We are a small, nonprofit animal rescue. We developed our website on Weebly and use PayPal buttons and Weebly's embed feature for donations. We would like to switch to Square. We do NOT want to use the online store (tried it but don't like it) - it is not flexible enough. The Square API developer skill seems complicated. We are considering hiring someone to write the APIs but not sure where to find a reputable (possibly certified) person. In Weebly (now owned by Square), certified developers are available for hire. We're hoping the same feature is available for Square API developers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi @BaywaterAnimalR - I pinned your thread to our homepage so more people can see it for a few days! Hopefully, someone will be able to chime in with some help.

You might also want to try writing in on the Weebly community. There might be someone who has skills to do multiple types of APIs 🙂
