How to return gift receipts that were purchased using a credit card.

When using a gift reciept, I can only figure out how to make a return to the original purchaser's credit card (if that's what they used). This doesn't make a lot of sense, since the item being returned or exchanged was a gift and the person who is returning it is not the original purchaser. Is there a way to refund cash on a credit card transaction?

you can return it to a gift card so that it doesn't go back to the original buyer's card.
