Physical gift cards or eGift Cards?

For physical, you first have to order them from eCard Systems from your dashboard. Once you have them, it's just the matter of finding the Gift Cards item in your library and following the steps on the screen in your Point of Sale.

More info: https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5393

For eGift Cards, your customers buy and load them from a link you give them. To redeem the eGift cards, the customer will give you his/her name, and their eGift card will be available as a Card on File. It's a little more intensive of a process than the physical cards, but you save the cost of printing gift cards. I defintely recommend checking out the eGift Card help page at https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6000
