Customer can't enter the 4-digit CVV for their American Express card

Hello,

I have a customer trying to pay an invoice using an American Express card with a 4 digit CVV. Square won't accept the 4 digit CVV but it says they accept American Express. The card is active. I have been trying to report support now for over a week and cannot get anyone to email me back or answer the phone.

The Square invoicing system will autodetect that a number entered is an Amex (if it is entered correctly) and allow 4 digit entry. so maybe they didn't enter the card number correctly as Amex numbers are different than Visa/ MC numbers.
