Is it possible to create a discount that gives a free item with the purchase of a specific item?

Hello, I want to create a discount that applies from 8am to 11am, where coffee/tea is free with the purchase of a specific item or category. Is this possible right now? If so, I don't see how to do it. If not, I suggest to make it possible.

I don't want to always provide a free coffee with the purchase of an item, but if the customer wants a coffee and its before 11am, and they purchase something from the specific categories, the coffee/tea should automatically apply instead of having to manually apply it.

Hi, @manousheh403. Currently having “conditional discounts” — where a discount only applies to an item IF a customer has something in their cart — is not a thing. You’ll just have to be sure that your employees are aware of the discount and apply it.

A feature request is a good idea. While Square product teams do monitor these boards, a better way to submit your request so that you can actually be notified when Square has reviewed it and made a decision, is to do so here.
