Our organization has a Premium Plan (eCommerce) with Wix. We have our store set up to transfer payment into our Square account. However, when the transactions come across, they do not include the name of the customer and description of the item being purchased. How can we configure Square to pull this information from Wix as part of the transaction record?

You are correct. From what I know about Wix it only uses Square as a payment gateway. It does not connect with items or customer data. You will get that information from your Wix account. There are other e-commerce options that do provide inventory sync with Square. https://squareup.com/dashboard/apps?category=e-commerce.

I have a very small e-commerce need so the Square online offering works just fine for me and it provides all that information. However, it is not the right solution for everyone.

Same issue. It captures all basic info except who made the transaction...the name. So you have to go to two sites to match it up. And then enter the name if you want to track it manually in the Square dashboard. Kind of a hassle.
