Almost all the smart phones out there, no matter the make and model, should pair in the same way once you launch the Square app:

Settings -> Card Readers. Tap Connect Reader then follow the on-screen instructions. Provided your reader is charged, you shouldn’t have any issues from that point on. More information can be found on this help page.

The cord from my credit card reader to the system itself got ruined and now won't connect anymore. Where can I buy a new connecting cord?

Hey @nbbikerentals - Are you referring to the cord coming from the Contactless Chip Reader dock? If so, those cards are not sold separately. You'll need to purchase a new dock or connect your reader via Bluetooth.
