Restrict Employee access to a Category or Price Point

Hello Board! Is it possible to restrict employee access to a specific category or price point?

For example, only the manager would be allowed to sell a bottle of wine at a "VIP price".

I can setup VIP price as a price point or place the items in a VIP Price category, but in either case, would I be able to only allow a certain employee role to access this?

There is no settings to restrict categories or items from being available to only key employees. Now you can set up a discount code to apply to your VIP sales that requires manager code. Don't know if you have a set percentage discount.

Makes sense. In this case, we decided to create a VIP Discount and keep it blank so at sale time, we can enter in the discount. A little more work than just selecting a predesignated price, but keeps inventory and reporting smoother. Thank you.
