Can I use my Android phone to run a POS?

I own a snowball/icecream business. I use square on my Android already, but I want to upgrade to the POS system. I run my business out of a food trailer. Just wondering if I can run the POS with my phone for a WIFI connection?

If I understand you correctly you are looking to set up point of sale hardware with a cash drawer, printer, stand and you want to use your phone as a hot spot.

Yes that is possible. When we run our Fireworks stand we have one iPad that is cellular and run 3 other iPads off of it. If you use the square stand your printer and drawer connect with a USB. If you want a wireless printer then the best way is to get a MiFi hub. Then you can connect your iPad, and printer to it. That is the way I do it because the square stand doesn't fit in my space.
