Partial Payment - when do we get paid

If we take a Partial Payment where client pays with Credit Card, when does the money get deposited? Is a charge for a Partial Payment treated any differently than a normal Credit Card transaction?

@wandawen It sounds like your referring to the new Request Deposit feature of Square Invoices? When a client pays a deposit the funds will be available in your Square account right away, and deposited according to your deposit schedule (either next day/scheduled/instant).

Keep in mind that reporting is a bit different with this feature and deposits won't appear in your reports — only when the invoice is paid in full will it appear in your sales/transaction history. There's more information about Sales and Reporting in the Support Center. I hope this is helpful!

I have a customer who made a partial payment for materials, but they payment hasn’t showed up. It says she’s paid but my a balance does not reflect it
