I am trying to see if our club can swap to Square so we can easily take credit cards.

Each day we would only be selling one "item" - basically a ticket that is good that day for our event.

I have seen we can turn off the confirmation screen, signatures, receipts - I'm hoping to go one step further if possible - some way to automatically add the one item to the cart each time so one doesn't even have to interact with the square POS app unless there is an issue - just go directly from scanning one credit card to the next, charging the same fee for the same item.

Is there any way to rapidly sell one item like this? Or is the fastest way to turn off all the confirmation screens, and still have to select the item and select to pay for it each time?

Thanks!

there is not a way to automatically add an item to the cart. but it is just pressing one button to add it from either the Square POS item layout screen on a tablet or from the items menu on a phone. you could easily get an item added and a chip card processed in under 15 seconds, probably even under 10 if you are skipping signatures too.
