Can I create two online store locations that share a shopping cart?

I would like to create two locations. have them share a shopping cart. For example

user goes to custom home page with link to first location
user picks some items.
user navigate back to main page and goes to location two
user retains items from location one shopping cart and picks more items
user tries to checkout and see both items from location one and location two in the cart.
user processes sell

That’s going to be a little tough to pull off. The Square Online store is location specific. You can’t share shopping carts.

Instead, what I would recommend is to create a new location that shares items from both locations you want to sell online and have that be the online site people use.

Inventory is an account level setting, so items sold in your online location would subtract from every location.

Remember the export tool on your item library: it’s a lot easier to manage item data from an excel spreadsheet and change the Enabled [location x] to move items around to your new location than it is to use the Items interface, especially if your item library is big.

ryanwanner, where do I start? I crearted a second location but when I changed an item it changed it at both locations. How do I make the new location online only?
