Accountant access to view square payroll?

I am considering adding Payroll services with square in addition to my credit card processing. How can I grant view access to my CPA so he can view it for accounting purposes?

Hello @AustinTx! To give your accountant access to your Square account and Square Payroll you could set them up as an Adminstrator. That is part of the Team Management features and it costs $5/month - so you could give them access for one month or a couple of months if they need it.

Helen that isnt a real solution since I dont want them to have admin access just read access once a month to view payroll and record in their books.

Has this been resolved yet? My accountant is asking for login access too and it would be wonderful if Square had the same option as Quickbooks to invite an accountant to access their sales data.

So Square normally does a pretty good job of building systems. I cannot believe the answer I was given by support on this. Our accountant needs access to the Payroll reports to do her job. I was told the only way that could happen was to give FULL ACCESS. I am sorry, but that does not follow the principle of Least Privilege and this system would fail a security audit every time. The rationale that if they need access to payroll, they should have access to EVERYTHING is flawed. I am a huge fan of your products, but this is a huge problem. I hope you all fix this soon because there is no way I can do that. I love our accountant, but I cannot grant her full access.
