How can I change to a new Business Name?

On your web dashboard, click on the Account & Settings option. Your business name can be changed on that first page that appears. This is assuming that you haven't changed your EIN/SSN for your business. If you have, you'll need to contact Customer Support.

you can change your TIN/SSN too. the box looks like it is greyed out and doesn't show your on file number but you can type in it and change it. https://squareup.com/dashboard/business/taxes

Old Business name showing on web browser tab

I've checked the Receipt settings and the Business Name settings, but I am still seeing that the wrong name is showing in the web browser tabs. How do I fix this as the old name shows nowhere on my setup but is only on the tab?

I've gone ahead and merged your post into an existing thread of Sellers who were also looking for information regarding editing Business name information!

On your dashboard, make sure you've updated your business name in two spots:

Account & Settings main page

Account & Settings -> Business -> Locations

Changing only the main page doesn't change your location name. Open up any/all locations you have listed and verify the name is updated there.

Let me know if that gets you where you need to be!
