thread How to combine duplicate items? in Archived Discussions (Read Only)

I use Square with my WooCommerce installation on my website, as well as at conferences where I sell books in person. I sometimes end up with duplicated items, especially if I have to quickly add something at a conference and then edit or fill in additional detail once I'm back in the office.

Because of this duplication, I cannot easily tell how many of each item I sold at a particular conference, which is quite frustrating. How can I combine those items and their sales numbers for an accurate figure?

Thank you!

There isn't a way to do combining of Items in Square, but you could do it in a spreadsheet afterward when you export it.

Thank you so much, @VanKalkerFarms. I guess I’ll have to learn spreadsheets. I can’t imagine why it’s not possible to do something that seems so basic to stock management, though.

Thanks again!
