I changed mobile phones and then learned that the card reader I have been using does not fit into the new phone. It is a moto z 3. The old phone had a port in the top for the reader. The one has no place to plug in the kind of reader I have been using. The only port is the charger.

Hey @GB729 - if your phone doesn't have a headset jack you could try the Contactless and Chip Card reader instead, it'll pair with your device over bluetooth and doesn't not need to be physically connected.

However, the Moto Z 3 hasn't been added to Square's device compatibilty website so I can't guarantee it'll work. If you know someone who already has one you could try theirs, or if you do purchase the reader and it doesn't work you can return it for free for 30 days.

Thanks. I noticed after I posted the question that the Moto z 3 has an adapter that plugs into the power port with the other end receiving the card reader. I tested it and it works well. Upside down, but works well.
