&lt;P&gt;It sounds like you need to switch your settings to &lt;STRONG&gt;Require Prepayment&lt;/STRONG&gt;. From your online &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/appointments/business/cancellation_policy" target="_blank"&gt;Appointments Dashboard&lt;/A&gt;:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Navigate to &lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; Click&lt;STRONG&gt; Payments &amp;amp; Cancellations&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Select &lt;STRONG&gt;Require Prepayment&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Click &lt;STRONG&gt;Save&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;

&lt;P&gt;When you've updated your settings your clients will see they have to enter their card information to book their appointment.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I own a yoga studio and people reserve their spot online and pay right then. However there is an option to "pay later". I would like to remove this so they must pay when they sign up, therefore I am not giving free classes without knowing.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
