Items never sold?

It there a way to view dead inventory? I want to see which items in my store have never sold or barely move?
I know how to see my fast movers, and which items sold at least once. But I don't see how to run a report on a item that never sold.

You're probably going to need to export your item sales report (Dashboard > Reports > Item Sales, click on Export in the upper right-hand corner and click on Summary CSV and pick the location for the download). Open the exported file in your favorite spreadsheet program, and filter the data by item # or SKU. You won't see entries for items that didn't sell, but anything not in the file didn't have a sale in the time period you specified.

Hmm? I've tried that and for the past three years when I export both the summary and the detailed report as you suggested I shows blank for all sku's item numbers
So filtering by that won't show me what I'm looking for.

Sorry for the delay in replying, but I was busy all day yesterday.

That's strange, but there's another thing to try: navigate Dashboard > Transactions, then set the date range to what you want, click on Export (upper right-hand corner) and export the Items Detail CSV file. I'm pretty sure that will get you what you want, along with tons of data you'll probably never use.
