How to view Total Sales report?

I want to see total sales for last week. I'm going to Reports > Sales Summary, choosing This Week, but I just see a total sales by day (for this week). I want a total for the *week*. (Or month, or whatever.)

Not possible in Reports? Which seems strange.

You're in the right report, you just need to display the data by the week. Along the top of the screen there is a box which probably says Summary (it's the third box to the right from the date selector box). Click on that box, then choose Weekly. The section just under the graphs will show your weekly totals.
