To issue a refund in-app, or on the Dashboard, select the <A href="https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/transactions" target="_blank"><STRONG>Transactions</STRONG></A> tab. Next, locate the sale in question and select <STRONG>Issue Refund</STRONG>. You'll be prompted to select an item or amount to refund, as well as a reason for the refund. If the sale was processed via card payment, your customer will receive a refund back onto their original payment card.
