I get weird characters when exporting to Excel

I'm trying to export my site items to Excel in order to do a mail merge. I'm finding that Square inserts weird formatting characters into the descriptions. and are not hard to remove, but there are also random strings of weird characters that mean every field has to be edited. Anyone else struggling with this and find a solution?

Hello @JKO

That's really frustrating.

I exported my library and only get the and characters, which as you mentioned, are easy to remove.

If you could send a screenshot of what some of those characters are, we can take a deeper look into this issue.

I replied to this before but I don't see that reply showing up. Here are some examples:

* The center bead is 1" tall and the necklace is just over 20". The purple of amethyst is associated with royalty. Amethyst is associated with healing the mind, body, and spirit. Don't miss your opportunity to own this healing necklace!

* It is shown hanging on a matching green fabric cord. Serpentine stones

* This dramatic pendant features a green Cat's

* is a hand-molded fine silver flower. Rubies are thought to symbolize good fortune and courage.

Clearly, apostrophe's trigger the "$#39;" but the others seem random.
