Hmm @TLC-Bodyworks that sounds a bit strange. When I set a Terminal to Alaska time it set the device to what I believe to be the correct time in Alaska. I went ahead and started a case for you so our team can investigate if Daylight savings is automatically factored in. I think it should be.

To answer your other questions - if you have the time settings on your Terminal to 'Set Automatically' it should automatically switch to the time zone of whatever state you're taking payments in. (Your device will need to be connected to the internet for the time to set automatically.)

But if you've disabled the Set Automatically feature. you can manually adjust change the timezone from your Terminal:

Navigate to the Settings section > tap General.

Under Date and Time toggle off Set Automatically if you haven't already.

Tap Time Zone > select the correct time zone. Tap the arrow in the top left when you've finished.

I set up my new Terminal to Alaska time as the default. It, however, is not taking into account that it is currently Daylight Savings Time. Thus, the terminal is saying, for example, that it is 2:00pm, when it is actually 3:00pm. How can I correct this so that the terminal reads the actual time? Secondarily, can this be set up so that it is automatically changed when it is "fall back" time? Thirdly, if I am working out of state, how do I change the timezone to reflect my actual whereabouts?
