Dynamic date in custom field

Can the date dynamically be set in a custom field? I need a "Date Joined" field and its tedious to have to use the picker to select todays date.

Hello @BKPS! How are you creating your customer profiles? If you create a profile from the Customers section of your online Square Dashboard you do have to manually select the month/day/year.

However, if you create a profile from your Point of Sale app or a Square device like the Square Terminal the date field should automatically popluate.

For example, here's how the date field appears (today) from the Point of Sale app on an iPhone:

Can you let me know a bit more about how you are planning to create customer profiles/how many you're setting up? With additional information I can flag this request to the Customers team!
