Is there a limit on how many items I can input into the square register?

Zeng_Koh — Wed, 16 Oct 2019 20:16:56 GMT

I'm deciding to buy a square register for my shop and i was wondering if there is any limit of how many items i can input into the register and if so can i just plug inana external hard drive to expand the items i can put?

Hey @Zeng_Koh!

Happy to hear you're considering purchasing the Square Register.

We don't currently have a limit to the amount of items a seller can have in their item library. It is known that performance can start to get slower at around 10,000 items. How many items do you have?

how many items can a square register hold? Also how can i merge all my items to website one time?

Hi @JM7,

I moved your post to an existing thread where another seller asked the same question about item library limits.

@IsabelleM answered that above. As for merging your items to your website- there's options for Square Sync which you can read about here from our Support Center.
