This is the second time with a new square that has charged then never turned back on! I plugged it in again and it was literally glitching going crazy from red green all over the place then boom off. I now can’t accept Apple Pay Samsung Pay and other outlets since I don’t have a working reader again. It’s not the outlets because my other stylist have used them to charge along with multiple iPads. This is getting ridiculous. Please let me know ASAP what will be done to fix this. I’ve already tried the troubleshooting. Clearly there is something going on with new readers as my old lasted for three years.

Hi @Heather87 -

Have you tried a hard reset on the reader? It would be holding the power button on the reader until you see 4 red flashing lights. Waiting 20 seconds, then pressing the power button again.

If not, the reader is covered by a 1 year warranty you can submit and get it replaced.
