Including Invoices in custom reporting

Is there an option to include invoices created from the invoices page (not checked out on the appointments app) in a custom report on my dashboard?

I'm a hairstylist and when I run a custom weekly report any invoice I create inside of the appointments app shows up fine. But when I am on the dashboard online and create one via the Invoices tab it won't show up in my custom weekly report. It will show up in the invoices report section only.

I create invoices for extension service and hair and require the hair to be purchased up front and would like to see those totals lumped together with all my other services and retail sales.

Any advice?

I received a response from our team. Here's what they said, "It sounds like this works as expected in the Invoices applet within Appointments but doesn't work outside of Appointments when running purely through Invoices."
