Importing contacts - IPad to square

Ok, you used to be able to easily press a button to import personal contacts to square. Now that does not exist anymore.

So...how do I easily import my personal contacts on an iPad into Square? I know most will already be in there but i want to capture the ones that I’ve added in iPad contacts and import them to square. How do i now do this?

Hi @Ashleycrodden and sorry for the delayed reply!

I checked in with our team and they confirmed that you can import customers from your personal contacts. But this can only be done on an iPhone and not an iPad.

Also, you're only able to add one contact at a time. There's not a way to add contacts in bulk. When you click on Customers from your iPhone, you'll tap on the three dots in the upper right hand corner and select Create New Customer. Then at the top of the page that populates, you'll see the option to Add from Address Book.

Confirming that you can not add contacts From address book on IPad like you can I Phone or Computer?

You are correct. The instructions Nika provided on this thread will only work with iPhone. The address book option does not show up when using an iPad. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Do they plan to integrate this feature into the iPad in a future release?

I normally use my iPad when making appointments or POS with a client. It is cumbersome to import from my iPhone contacts, then jump back to iPad
