How do I allow customer to add options

We are trying to use the Square for registration for a GALA for both Sponsorship and individual registration, on the individual side I need to be able to collect their name and give them the choice to pick one of 3 food options, beef, chicken. or vegetarian in the store.

can someone help guide me with this?

Hmm, let me think about this -- do you need to charge them for these food options or just record their choices?

Ah, Gotcha! Here's what I'd do -

Create an item with three variations named BEEF, CHICKEN and VEGGIE each priced at $100, then add it to the sale. As far as collecting their name, you have two options:

Add a note to the sale with your customer's name:

From the payment screen, tap Current Sale at the top of the screen.
Tap an item or custom amount to add notes > add note.
Tap Save to save the note and return to the current sale.

Or add them to the sale using Customer Management:

From the Checkout screen, tap Add Customer above the current sale.
Select Create New Customer and enter their information.
Tap Save.

Both options will show each attendee with their preferred dinner choice when pulling an Item Sales report. I hope this helps!
