Bypassing the Square Stand

I am wanting to connect my iPad to the hub and bypass the actual square stand. The square stand is a bit cumbersome for some of the pop ups I sell at. I like the hub because it keeps my iPad and USB card reader and scanner charged.

I ordered a lightning to micro usb cable made for a Dji drone. Unfortunately it didn’t work. Has anyone successfully done this?

Hey @Mahu - Happy to see a new face in the Community!

If you want to do without the Stand, you could connect your reader to the POS app via Bluetooth and plug the cord of the reader to a cell phone charging base to keep the battery charged. However, I'm afraid you can't connect your scanner with this type of configuration since there's no USB port available on the iPad to plug into - assuming your scanner is USB.
