Is it possible to load/activate gift cards in the virtual terminal or through another program on windows 10?

Hi @Preckpharm! Welcome to the Community.

The Virtual Terminal is only meant for manually entering cards so unfortunately that wouldn't be an option.

If you have a moment, can you explain how this would be beneficial for your business so our Product Team can get some better insight?

I got all set up to sell gift cards only to find out that when enabled it does not show up in my Virtual PC Terminal software! Any way to do this?

It's not possible to load gift cards from the Virtual Terminal at this time, only through the POS app.

Thank you @JustinC that is unfortunate. We have PC's at multiple locations throughout the facility but only one POS tablet. It would sure be beneficial for Square to bump the functionality to be the same as sometimes I have to do transactions in my office. Wireless scanner, Bluetooth card reader and for crying out loud, why is there no library front end? You get used to looking at the terminal, why can't the virtual terminal look similar and have the same functionality? Makes no sense to me.
