I am syncing daily from Square to Quickbooks. My problem is my spa service items and my products are going into one amount on the reports and export to income in QBO. I would like to separate my product sales from my service sales in Square and in QBO sync. I currently have categories set up by product manufacture or waxing, facial etc. Is there a way to get the result I want?

Hey there! Welcome to the community!!

With our integration with Quickbooks, you will likely need to contact their support team to see how you can categorize and organize your sales once they are imported to Quickbooks.

Also, make sure you have these steps completed to help optimize your syncing:

Set up sales tax in QuickBooks.

Make sure that the bank account you use for receiving deposits from Square is set up in QuickBooks.

Optionally, import your Square Item Library to QuickBooks. This will let QuickBooks automatically assign the right items to a sale when your Square transactions are imported.

If you already have these details completed, then you will need to reach out to their team. To reach Quickbooks for phone support, call 1-800-488-7330. Their Support Team is available Monday - Friday: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (PST) and Saturday: 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. (PST).
