WiFi-driven or Bluetooth-driven cash drawer

I'm looking to connect a Square Terminal wirelessly to a (printer-driven) cash drawer. Is there a device like the APG BluePRO (https://posguys.com/Accessories/BA-0510-101A-02_1117942) compatible with the Square Terminal?

Hi @djembe

Right now, a bluetooth cash drawer is not able to be connected to the Terminal.

Here is a chart of the compatible devices for any of our hardware. It is sorted by Third Party device and the Square Hardware is listed at the top.

To connect Square Terminal wirelessly to a cash drawer, it seems the best solution is to connect a cash drawer to a WiFi receipt printer.

When connected to a WiFi printer, can Square Terminal still print receipts using its embedded printer?

@djembe Yup!

Just make sure Allow Printing is enabled in your settings under the Printer tab. Switching topics to the WiFi printer, you shouldn't need a cash drawer to connect it unless you need one for your POS set-up. Simply create a printer station under External Printers in your Terminal device settings and assign the item categories you want to print from your WiFi printer.
