thread How to make items Non-salable? in Archived Discussions (Read Only) https://community.squareup.com/t5/Archived-Discussions-Read-Only/How-to-make-items-Non-salable/m-p/142776#M28176 <P>Hi,</P> <P>My business buys, sales and repairs mobile devices.&nbsp; As part of this market, we have to add quite a few items to the database.&nbsp; Some of these items, are kept in the system for information purposes ONLY.&nbsp; How can I make it so an item can be looked up, but not bought/sold?</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>I.E.,</P> <P>iPhone (Original).&nbsp; We have it listed in the database, so that I and/or employees can look it up.&nbsp; Recently, an employee looked it up, and was about to purchase it from a customer, (in was in great condition) but thankfully did not, as the original price is higher than what it would be worth today.&nbsp; To prevent this from happening, we have created a Category, DSC-Devices, yet can still be bought or sold.&nbsp; Any way we can prevent this from happening?</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>Any help is greatly appreciated.</P> <P>Thank you!</P> <P>A.
