Can a customer use a square gift card to pay for a Square appointments?

Customer want to purchase e-gift cards that their friend can use to pay for a Square Appointment. It does not look like e-Gift cards or physical gift cards can be used to pay for an appointment. (There is a place to enter the CC info, but it is asking for more info than the customer would have on a gift card, eg expiry date, etc.)

Is this possible, and if not, can we add this as a request for a change to the Appointments app?
