Yikes! @dolceicon11

Sorry to hear you're dealing with this. Unfortunately there's no way to hide the email when choosing a card on file. The email is there to ensure the correct customer is charged in case you have multiple customers that share the same name.

With that said, the privacy and security of our Sellers as well as your customers' is a top priority for us so it might be a good idea to restrict card on file access only to trusted individuals using Team Permissions.

Check out the link I posted above for more info.

How can I allow a team member to see open tickets and take payment for those open tickets?I have been able to set up a profile to take payments, but I'd like the team member to take payments for specific open tickets. Is this possible without granting access to dashboard and reports?

Thanks,

Hey @amyc123 - Yes. The permission you're looking for is Manage Open Tickets found under Team Permissions. Make sure you enable it within the Access Shared Point of Sale permission group so your employee can manage them using their 4 digit passcode on the POS.

When servers choose a card on file for settling a payment, the clients's email address is also shown and visible for the servers.

They unfortunately took advantage of it and sent out personal emails to the clients.

How can you hide email and personal information ?
