Can I import a spreadsheet without all the default columns?

As much as I dislike using the spreadsheet to manage my Square inventory, I use it quite a bit.

To speed up the data entry process, I hide most of the column, so that only the ones I need to edit are visible. Basically item name, category, sku, and price.

When I’m ready to upload, I unhide all those other columns.

is it possible to upload a spreadsheet with only those columns? Will the system be affected if other columns are missing?

Are there any specific required columns? Also, would there be any problem if I did not unhide hidden columns before uploading? I don’t think there would be, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

I think what you're looking for here is also a feature request.

There's not a way to customize the columns aside from creating a custom report but I know that you've done that already from past posts.

I'll pass this along to the Report Product team!
