Can I generate a W-2 if I do an off cycle paycheck for 2019 in 2020?

I wrote a check for the principles in our corporation on the 31st but a W-2 was not generated since the payperiod overlapped into the new year.

I wrote entered another set of checks in an off-cycle payment for the pay period before and am hoping it generates a w-2.

Hi there @Chrisvdg 👋 At this time, it is too late to generate any 2019 pay. The deadline for running an off-cycle payment for 2019 was January 8, 2020 - you can learn more by looking at the Square Payroll year-end timeline and info here.
