    <description>&lt;P&gt;No worries - you should be able to correct the customer info attached to a transaction, &lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/103753"&gt;@thebrainlair&lt;/a&gt;!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;All you need to do is head over to the &lt;STRONG&gt;Transactions&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/transactions" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;page&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;of your Square Dashboard. From here, locate the transaction in question and select it. A sidebar menu will pop out from the right-hand side when you do so. In the top right-hand corner of this sidebar menu, you'll see a few options:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;IMG style="height: 54px; width: 512px;" src="https://lithium-response-prod.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/square.response.lithium.com/RESPONSEIMAGE/aea6e272-9089-4973-a333-b3bed12e6744.default.png" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;You'll want to click on the three dots here, and select&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Edit Customer&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;- from here, you can remove the customer and/or edit the information on this screen. This should help - please let us know if it doesn't!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Can I edit customer information after a transaction has been processed?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;The title of this thread has been edited from the original:&amp;nbsp;Wrong Customer Added to Sale and sent the receipt&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I added the wrong customer to a sale and that customer got the receipt for the transaction. How can I fix that without refunding and re-ringing the sale. I know I can send the receipt to the correct customer but I want to make sure I am keeping track of the sales they made.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
