Hey @Dshep! Welcome to the Community.

I reached out to one of our Loyalty experts and they confirmed that you can have multiple ways to earn points for different items but you can only choose one category.

So it has to be for items or for visits and not both if that makes sense! If you have it by visits- you also could not do one by item.

On the app it should show you the different buckets/options you have to set up with.

I just set up my loyalty program. I seen i can add multiple ways to redeem points but I could only set up one way to earn points.

I was wanting to set up earn 1 point per dollar and the a "bonus" earn 3 points for purchasing x items in Y category.

Is this not an option?

Hey @PV4U -

Of course! You can make another "Redeem Rule" for those other points.

On your Dashboard go to Loyalty > Settings > Create Redeem Rule. You will add the items that they can redeem points on too.

I found the reedem rules. I want earning rules. Like for the month of October earn double rewards on all items in the xyz line.

That is great! I wish their was a bundle discount for having multiple packages. Right now I'm paying for square retail, marketing, loyalty and weebly. It is like a nickle and dime every time I turn around to offer something. I've been with square for 5 years now.

I know this post is two years old but it's the most relevant post regarding Adding additional earning rules. I was really hoping to offer 3x points on seasonal products for example.

As a marketing product it would be super helpful to have the ability to earn additional points from specific categories.
