thread sales trends in Archived Discussions (Read Only)

Maybe I'm not understanding, but it appears on the sales trends report, comparing this year to last year, the totals aren't correct. I thought maybe it was only accounting for last year up to this date, but those numbers don't add up either. I mean, it's close, but seems off. Granted I didn't do exact math since I'm not sure what it is including in these totals.

Does this comparison only compare the current year to the same time-frame for the previous year? It appears as tho it's only showing net sales, no tax/tips.

Just trying to understand.

Hey there, @crystalimages!

Welcome back to the Community.

Could you give me some more detail on what isn't matching up on your Sales Trend Report - like what report you're looking to compare it to? You can send a private message, if you don't want any account specific numbers public.

Currently, the report only compares the current year to the same timeframe as the previous year. It should show you only the net sales. If you're seeing something that's looking incorrect - I'd be happy to get to the bottom of this with you.

I will keep an eye out for you reply.
