&lt;P&gt;At this time Square Accounts require an Individual responsible for the account; if that individual is no longer at the business, then there can be a Transfer of Ownership. &amp;nbsp;Regarding the EIN, I recommend reaching out to our &lt;A href="https://squ.re/contactsqsupport" target="_blank"&gt;Support team&lt;/A&gt; to escalate it to the Tax Team.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Setting up EIN for Nonprofit business</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We are a nonprofit with a revolving board of directors. The account Settings is asking us to put in a TIN. I've looked through the threads and it seems we have to enter someone's SSN first and then we can add our business EIN.&amp;nbsp; But we do not want to enter any personal SSNs as many of us roll off the board every 2 years.&amp;nbsp; When I attempt to add our 9 digits EIN I'm getting an error saying add a valid EIN.&amp;nbsp; The EIN is valid.&amp;nbsp; Appreciate some guidance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
