Does anyone know how I can use Custom Attributes for our inventory? I want to be able to flag certain products with allergies.

I saw an article about Custom Attributes and third-party inventory apps, but can't see the Custom Attributes option on the items?

Glad to hear from you @goodlifeheatons!

Sorry to say, custom attributes are only available on accounts that are using specific third-party integrations (aka apps) since they're based on a set of details provided by the third-party. Custom attributes are not available while just using the standard POS.

Keep in mind - Not all third-party integrations (apps) are supported. If you integrate with an app and you are not seeing the option within the Item Library, the third party doesn't support them at this time.

Custom Attributes in Service

I've created variations for a service and I'm able to add Custom Attributes, but I don't see where a customer or employee can select the attributes. What is the purpose of Custom Attributes? Can I use it as an "Add on" feature for a service?
