Viewing Timecards

Timecards don't show up on my phones browser when I'm on the dashboard. They do on my tablet and computer dashboard though. Any reason for this? When check the desktop site button it does but it is a little harder to use.

I just want to make sure we're on the same page here before digging in. Certain functions of your Square Dashboard will not be available when accessing your Dashboard from a mobile device instead of a computer or tablet. Is this what you're seeing when attempting to view your timecards through a web browser on your mobile device?

Have you considered downloading the Square Payroll app? It may include some of the features you're looking for in your Square Dashboard.

Yes. That is what I'm talking about. I can't veiw time cards on my phone. It does show up on my tablet.

Are you subscribed to Square Payroll, @GoodGuysPizza? If you are not, the only way to view timecards will be through your Square Dashboard on a computer, laptop, or tablet.

As long as you are subscribed to Square Payroll, you will be able to see your timecards within the Square Payroll App - not the Square Point of Sale app. You will not be able to view timecards from your Square Dashboard when using a browser on a phone, even if you are subscribed to Square Payroll. If you're subscribed, and haven't yet downloaded the Square Payroll app on your phone, I would recommend checking it out!

OK. I don't really need the payroll function now but timecards will be nice. I just like to look at my phone and see who is working. I'll make due. Thanks for the info .

I did find a work around for this. Chrome browser has the option to see the full page instead of the mobile page. It shows up there. It's just not as easy to navigate in that mode.

I'm glad that the ability to view your Dashboard on your mobile device using this view is useful, @GoodGuysPizza! I'd recommend sticking with that route, unless you decide to subscribe to Square Payroll.

Because the Square Dashboard is optimized for a desktop web browser, it is most user-friendly with Google Chrome on a device with a larger screen. As you mentioned in your initial post, it may be slightly more cumbersome to view your Square Dashboard using the Desktop site view on a small screen because the smaller screen means smaller buttons.
