use square appointment for service with variable time

Does anyone know how (or if it's possible) to use Square Appointments/Online booking for a service that has variable durations? I'm a professional organizer and would like my clients to be able to book online.

I'm guessing I have to add a service for each duration, but I was hoping there was a way for a client to select they wanted 3 hours vs 4 hours, etc.

You will have to put the variations manually. There is no way for the client to choose their own at this point.

Customer to Select Booking Duration

I'm have a party bus service where I'd like to allow the customer to determine the duration of their booking. How do I set that up on my booking site?

I moved your post to an existing thread where this question's been answered.

There's not a way for clients to select their own duration as mentioned above here. This is a feature request.

Just adding a reply to say this is a much much needed feature request. It's also missing from so many appointment apps.

I agree - it is sorely needed on any appointment app!

I believe I found a way around it - I had one client book through the link I created & it worked just fine...

I created an "item" list with my services - "items" lets you have different choices you can have the client/customer choose from. In my case, I gave the option of "on-line" or "in-person", as well as different session length options.

What I am now trying to figure out is how to connect this with zoom, so that when an online session gets booked, the client automatically receives the zoom meeting link.... the jury is still out if it's possible to integrate this way.

Does anyone else have any experience with integrating zoom & square appointments app?

Thanks for writing back in and sharing this workaround!

While there's no official integration between Square and Zoom, it looks like there's some third party integrations you could try out. Hopefully some other sellers can share some suggestions, too 🙂
